A 10-week series exploring the sacred love and connection between mother and child. Based on the Attachment Vitamins curriculum developed by UCSF's Child Trauma Research Program, each two-hour session uses a trauma-informed lens through which parents can view and better support their baby as they grow and learn. Participants discuss concepts such as understanding a child’s point of view, what attachment is, child temperament, parenting style, mental wellness, and self-care tips focused on the socio-cultural experience of Black families.
Polish your Crown, Sis! groups promote Black women's well-being through lively discussion and learning about topics of interest to participants including health and mental wellness, Black culture, current events, sisterhood, parenting and family life.
